The Company Gardens

The “Central Park of Cape Town”. The Company Gardens was the first thing the Dutch built when they got here. Now it’s home to squirrels, pigeons, rats, ducks, fish, homeless people and politicians. Tourists and locals love hanging out there. That’s Table Mountain in the background, the historic looking building is the Iziko Museum and Planetarium, the couple on the bench is sitting in front of the aviary, the saluting statue is of Cecil John Rhodes, and Bruce Lee is standing in front of the Chinese Lantern.
